Nimbus World is a comic I am currently working on. Check out the pages so far!

Nimbus World was once ruled by demi gods named OMME but for some time now the OMME have gotten tired, lazy and subdued. As they slumber in clouds above the common people the world below have been plunged into daily chaos. Political corruption, riots, civil unrest, unfair dystopic nonsense is all rife in Nimbus World, but our story focuses not on the mighty and powerful or the uprising brewing beneath the boot of tyranny but on those just trying to live through this strange world. We start our story with friends Alfonso and Topher on a seemingly simple quest to get a new printer.

Each page is crafted by hand. Panels are first drawn by hand on individual pages then are scanned in and laid out digitally. Then the panels are inked digitally and printed out to be colored and roughed up with mixed media (pencils, ink, crayons, and whatever else I got laying around). The pages are then rescanned into my computer and colored up digitally only to be printed one final time and roughed up one more time and then scanned and finalized. Every stage is made by a human hand… a stinky weird human who is me! No bullshit AI slop here… just good old fashioned human slop! My terrible printer produces this strange grimy look that for some reason I am obsessed with.
